This year’s theme is “Rebuild with Love.”  For all of these roles, we’re especially looking for submissions that touch on the theme and lead participants to think about rebuilding, about resilient listening, about wholeheartedness, about the cracks where the lights come in, and above all, of inclusive welcoming of everyone where they are, and with all the gifts they have to offer, including the gift of simply showing up and being present, with their whole selves

Teachers and residents receive free or deeply discounted registration and get to participate in all that Institute has to offer.

Artist-in-Residence

The Timbrel Artist-in-Residence will offer a course over the week of the Institute, and will work with the planning team to offer programming that brings this year’s theme to life. Read more and apply.

Liturgist-in-Residence

The National Havurah Committee seeks a Liturgist-in-Residence for the 2025 Summer Institute! This resident will lead workshops and programs on creating liturgy, reimagining prayers, and designing new rituals. The theme is “Rebuild with Love” and applications from Jews of Color and marginalized communities are encouraged. Read more and apply.

Course Teachers

Course teachers will prepare and teach a four-session class in either the morning or the afternoon on Tuesday-Friday. Class sessions are 90 minutes long. Read more and apply.
