Siyyum on Moed Katan

Siyyum on Moed Katan

Thursday, February 10th at 8 pm EST

If one studies a page of Talmud a day, it takes about 7 and a half years to go through the whole thing.  We celebrate the completion of each of the 22 sections of the Talmud with a Siyyum – a party of completion.  This is the 14th cycle of people around the world studying the same page each day! A group of Havurahniks and friends have been celebrating together by sharing highlights of each section and studying the last passage together.  Join us as we complete Moed Katan a section that is nominally about what can be done on the middle days of Passover and Sukkot, but also includes sections on mourning and excommunication.

No prior knowledge is needed!  Come dive into the “Sea of Talmud” with us!

We will complete Chagigah on Tuesday, March 8th.

Register in advance for this session.
