Cultivating Sh’khinah, Divine Presence: Adon Olam with T’mimah Ickovits Location: Deck
Enter holy play and learn about Divine Presence in Jewish thought from this evocative Spiritual Poem (Piyyut), reading the text in Hebrew and offering translations to cultivate and experience the layered holographic messages within it. Let the words wash over you, select a word or verse from the text that resonates with you, and then dive in more deeply with translation, meditation, or even set the words to music.
Intergenerational text study workshop on what responsibilities parents have for children. with Marisa Harford Location: Citron
We’ll examine texts from the Talmud and codes of Jewish law on parental responsibilities and discuss how they line up with our expectations and experiences today. This session is designed for intergenerational conversation – for tweens, teens, and adults (whether they are parents or grandparents or not)– anyone who can read and discuss questions with a chevruta (study partner) is welcome. Texts will be provided.

Before we arrived in Canaan we were told that the land would teach us about our dependence on Hashem – so we’ll close with the question of what this land might have to teach us about our relationship with Hashem
