Embodied Shacharit  with Josh Schreiber  Location: Beit Midrash

We will follow the traditional matbea, or structure, of the service, using song and gentle explorations inspired by Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement to experience the liturgy in our bodies and prepare ourselves for the day. Prayerbooks optional (there will be time for a private Amidah).

Cultivating Sh’khinah, Divine Presence: Amidah with T’mimah Ickovits  Location: Tent-Far Side

Our Liturgist-in-Residence will share how the Holy Zohar connects patriarchs (Avraham, Yitzhak, and Yaakov) and matriarchs (Leyah and Rahel) with specific Divine attributes and how contemporary mystic Rabbi David Wolfe-Blank z”l recognizes and elevates the ancestors Sarah and Rivkah’s attributes.

The “Land Stories” practice is a workshop full of song, reflection, ritual, and lineage exploration. If you are interested in indigenous sovereignty, reparations, ancestral healing and connection this space is for you. Includes minidocumentary about Linke Fligl, a queer Jewish farm & cultural organizing project on Schaghticoke land (NY).

This workshop is appropriate for both new and experienced writers. In a safe, supportive, and confidential container we will write and share with each other what we know best —the stories of our lives.

Seven Sacred Circles Practice with T’mimah Ickovits Location:

We will explore the meaning behind the circle, the secrets of the seven cycles, and the Divine attributes of the spiritual poem Ana B’khoah. Then, through the ancient ritual of circle dancing, we will embody this practice to gain an understanding of the wisdom within the Secret of Seven and the beauty and spiritual harmony of the portal that is the circle.

New music by David Seidenberg 7:15-7:45pm

Come listen to some new classical music composed by David Seidenberg: a wind quintet, a chamber orchestra piece, and a trio with flute, piano and bassoon. One of the pieces was composed in response to the war.
