If you are between the ages of 6 months and 12 years old, we invite you to spend your Institute week at Kidstitute! At Kidstitute, you will be assigned to a group of campers all around the same age. Your group, with awesome and experienced staff, will spend time together every morning and afternoon while your parents/guardians are in classes. Community is one of the most important goals of Kidstitute. Whether you’ve been to Kidstitute before or not, you will have the opportunity to make new friends this year! You will even have a chance to make friends with kids of other ages as well as adults!
Please note that Kidstitute operates during scheduled class and workshop times. The camp is designed for kids from 6 months to 12 years old who can participate in an all-day program with a break for lunch. We do our best to accommodate all children. If you have questions or concerns about your child please email the Kidstitute Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Families that have registered at the time will receive a “Welcome to Kidstitute” email in mid-June with additional details and forms. Following June 15th, these forms will be available through the Kidstitute section of our site, or you can email email@example.com. All Kidstitute participants are required to have completed Kidstitute permission forms submitted prior to the start of camp.
Volunteering at Kidstitute
Institute is a truly participatory and inter-generational experience, and Kidstitute embodies that in a big way. We strongly encourage participation at Kidstitute from teaching faculty, Artists-in-Residence, parents, and all other members of the Institute community. If you are over the age of 12 but would like to participate in Kidstitute in some capacity, please email the Kidstitute Director. You can do anything from teaching a group of campers a song, to leading a craft project, to volunteering to hold a baby!
