The book of Danial represents a transition period between the Jewish culture of the Bible and the Jewish culture in Times of the Sages. In Daniel we can find primary expressions of beliefs, values and traditions that are part of Jewish culture to this day. By studying Daniel we will have the opportunity to study the book itself and through it reflect on some of these beliefs, values and traditions.
